You’ll visit the Narikhala fortress, created in the 4th century and considerably enlarged since then by the Umayyads, King David the Builder, and then destroyed by the Mongols. It overlooks Tbilisi and the Mtkvari river, offering panoramic views of Tbilisi.
Lunch in the historic center of Tbilisi in a typical Georgian restaurant. You’ll already be introduced to Georgian gastronomic traditions.

You’ll then stroll through the maze of the old town, a veritable jewel of architecture and layout, with its carved wooden balconies, winding cobbled streets… old Tbilisi is both an Oriental and a medieval European city.

During this meal, you’ll enjoy an oenology lesson on Georgian wines.

Day 3TBILISI - SAGAREJO - DAVID GAREJA

You’ll leave Tbilisi for Sagarejo, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Ninotsminda fortress and enjoy a soupra (traditional Georgian meal) in authentic surroundings. This meal will allow you to discover the unique flavors of Georgian cuisine and immerse yourself in the local culture.

You’ll then head for David Gareja, a monastery located in a mountainous region on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan. This historic site is renowned for its caves and ancient frescoes, offering a fascinating insight into the spirituality and history of the region. You’ll have the chance to explore the various monasteries and hermitages, admire the spectacular scenery all around you and learn more about Georgia’s cultural heritage.

After a busy day, you’ll spend the night in a traditional guest house. This will give you an authentic experience of Georgian hospitality and the local way of life. You’ll receive a warm welcome and be able to relax in a friendly, comfortable environment.

Day 4DAVID GAREJA - SIGHNAGHI- TELAVI

In the morning, you’ll head for Sighnaghi, a charming medieval town known as the “City of Love”.

On site, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Sighnaghi’s unique atmosphere. You can enjoy delicious Georgian cuisine in one of the town’s traditional restaurants, while admiring panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

After lunch, visit Sighnaghi at your own pace. Stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town, discovering its architecture, medieval fortifications and ancient churches. You’ll also have the chance to admire the view of the Caucasus mountains.

Then off to the Tsinandali House Museum, an iconic site dedicated to the famous Georgian poet Alexander Chavchavadze. You’ll discover its literary and artistic heritage, as well as the magnificent surrounding gardens that invite you to relax and contemplate.

To round off the day in style, you’ll head for Telavi, the capital of the Kakhetia region. Soak up the city’s lively atmosphere as you stroll its bustling streets, visit its colorful markets and discover its historic monuments.

Day 5TELAVI - GUDAURI - STEPANTSMINDA - GERGETI

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head for Gudauri, a magnificent mountain resort offering breathtaking panoramas. Stop off for lunch at one of the local restaurants and enjoy delicious Georgian cuisine while admiring the surrounding snow-capped peaks and mountain scenery.

After regaining your strength, you’ll set off to discover Stephantsminda, a small town at the foot of Mount Kazbek. You’ll be amazed by the natural beauty of the region, with its lush green valleys, waterfalls and towering mountains. Guergueti is a monastery located in the town of Stephantsminda in Georgia. Perched on a cliff, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including Mount Kazbek. Day 6STEPANTSMINDA - MTSKHETA - GORI

Day 7UPLITSIKHE - BORJOMI - AKHALTSIKHE

Your day begins with a fascinating visit to Uplistsikhe, an ancient troglodyte town in Georgia. After this captivating experience, it’s time to move on to Borjomi, a charming town renowned for its thermal springs and famous mineral water. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and taste Borjomi spring water, renowned for its healing properties. The day continues with a visit to Akhaltsikhe, a historic town in south-west Georgia. The highlight of the visit is the Rabati fortress, an imposing citadel dating back to the 9th century.
