You can also cross the Mestiachala River and discover traditional Georgian villages. During your day hike, you can also visit medieval churches and stone towers in the villages you pass through. In the evening, you can relax in a traditional Georgian guesthouse and enjoy the hospitality of the local people.

The hike from Zhabeishi to the village of Adishi is a unique experience that will take you through the magnificent mountain scenery and other traditional villages of the Svanetia region. In addition to mountain views, you’ll also discover lush green meadows and coniferous forests along the way. Along the way, you’ll cross rivers and wooden bridges, and may even catch a glimpse of wild animals such as chamois or deer.
Once you arrive in Adishi, you’ll discover a traditional Georgian village, set in a secluded valley surrounded by mountains. The village is famous for its stone houses with thatched roofs, its medieval defense towers and its 10th-century Orthodox church.
You’ll arrive at a guesthouse where you can immerse yourself in the local culture. Enjoy traditional Georgian dishes for dinner and chat with the locals.

You’ll also see the Tobavarchkhili lakes, a series of breathtakingly beautiful glacial lakes. Finally, today’s hike ends at the small village of Iprali, surrounded by majestic mountains and lush green meadows.
