The spirit of the Georgian wine and church trip

Georgia is home to numerous vineyards and is the country where the oldest traces of wine-making in the history of mankind have been found (Georgians have known how to make wine for over 8,000 years). A trip to Georgia with its wines and churches is a great way to understand the pillars of Georgian culture!

You’ll discover unknown and endemic grape varieties, quevri winemaking and international vineyards. You’ll taste a wide variety of wines!
At the same time, you’ll discover the history of evangelization in this country, which was the second in the world to officialize Christianity (after Armenia). You’ll see ancient churches and monasteries built on prestigious sites in grandiose landscapes. This trip to Georgia to discover Georgian wines and churches will leave you with unsuspected emotions.

What can you expect from Georgian churches and wines?

On this wine and church tour of Georgia, you’ll discover exceptional grape varieties unknown in Europe, an ancient way of making wine (qvevri), thousand-year-old churches and the Christianization of Georgia. You’ll discover the Georgian way of drinking, as you make warm and generous toasts to visitors.

Wine and the traces of the first evangelized countries will help you discover unknown facets of these two subjects: wine and churches in Georgia!
