You will visit the Narikhala fortress, originally built in the 4th century and significantly expanded by the Umayyads, King David the Builder, and later destroyed by the Mongols. It overlooks Tbilisi and the Mtkvari River, offering a panoramic view of Tbilisi.
Lunch in the historic center of Tbilisi at a typical Georgian restaurant. You will begin to acquaint yourself with Georgian culinary traditions.

Day 3TBILISI - SAGAREJO - DAVID GAREJA

You will depart from Tbilisi to Sagarejo, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Ninotsminda fortress and enjoy a supra (traditional Georgian meal) in an authentic setting. This meal will allow you to discover the unique flavors of Georgian cuisine and immerse yourself in the local culture.

You will then head to David Gareja, a monastery situated in a mountainous region on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan. This historical site is renowned for its caves and ancient frescoes, offering a fascinating glimpse into the spirituality and history of the region.
